Throughout most of my life I sat behind my school desk dreaming about all the things I’d do once I finally broke loose from my that chain that was my school uniform.
I had felt that school was holding me back from doing a lot of the things I had always wanted to do. I knew that given time and freedom, I would soar and break barriers. So I waited. I waited till I was done with homework, done with school assemblies and done with piles of notes to study. 2014, my senior year, my matric year, my last year stuck in class.
I made the most of my time in class and now I’m at university but something dawned on me recently: I am finally in the mix of life. All I’ve been waiting for is right in front of me now. Time, resources, opportunity. So with all these things in front of me I decided that I’m not going to wait for anything anymore. Its finally come the time to act now, to reach for all I’ve wanted and see what happens.
I’ve been a writer for quite some time now so my first step toward everything, I thought, would be to start a blog and spread some thoughts.
